Privacy policy.

This site is run by Deskka Pty Ltd (ABN 94 646 820 402), trading as Yeh Nah Goods, an Australian company. We handle your personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.

This policy explains what we collect, why, what we do with it, and what your rights are. Plain English. No 14-page scroll.

What we collect.

When you visit, browse, buy, or sign up to our journal, we may collect:

• Identity: name, email, billing and shipping address, phone number (only if you give it).
• Order details: what you bought, when, how you paid.
• Payment information: handled by Shopify Payments and our payment processors. We never see or store your full card number — we only see the last four digits and the payment status.
• Technical data: IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, referring site, time spent. Standard analytics.
• Marketing preferences: whether you've opted in to journal emails or SMS, and what you've clicked.

Why we collect it.

• To process your order and get the gear to you.
• To send transactional emails (order confirmation, shipping, returns).
• To send marketing emails or SMS only if you've opted in. You can unsubscribe any time — link in every email.
• To improve the site (which pages people actually use, what's broken).
• To meet our legal obligations (tax records, fraud prevention).

Who we share it with.

The minimum needed to run the business:

• Shopify — our e-commerce platform.
• Payment processors (Shopify Payments, Stripe, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay) — to process payments.
• Shipping partners (Australia Post and our POD fulfilment partner) — to get your order to your door.
• Klaviyo — to send the journal newsletter and any marketing emails or SMS you've opted in to.
• Analytics providers (Shopify Analytics, Google Analytics) — to understand how the site is used.

We do not sell your data. We do not rent your data. We do not share your data with anyone outside the list above without your explicit consent or unless required by law.

Where it's stored.

Most of our data sits on servers operated by Shopify (Canada/US) and our other providers, who comply with Australian privacy law and equivalent international standards (GDPR, CCPA). Where data is transferred overseas, we ensure equivalent protections apply.

Cookies.

We use cookies to remember your cart, keep you logged in, run analytics, and measure marketing performance. You can disable cookies in your browser — some site features won't work properly if you do. When you first visit, you'll see a consent banner where you can choose what's enabled.

Your rights.

You have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you.
• Correct it if it's wrong.
• Ask us to delete it (subject to our legal record-keeping obligations — we have to keep order records for tax purposes).
• Unsubscribe from marketing at any time.
• Complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) if you think we've mishandled your data.
